Manchester, NH, February 1, 2018 – Digital marketing agency, SilverTech, is pleased to announce the promotion of Derek Barka to Chief Technology Officer, Nina Chang to VP of Accounting and Finance, and John Wingate to Director of Engineering, effective February 1, 2018. The announcement was made by SilverTech CEO, Nick Soggu.

We know that they will excel in these new roles as SilverTech continues to grow with our clients.”

Derek Barka, Chief Technology Officer, SilverTech
Derek Barka joined SilverTech as Chief Software Architect in August of 2013, coming from Ektron, where he served as Chief Software Architect and Engineering Manager. Since starting at SilverTech, Derek has held the title of Director of Engineering and Sr. Director of Engineering. Derek’s strong leadership skills have helped move SilverTech forward toward meeting our company goals of excellent customer service and a commitment to community involvement. In his new role, Derek will shift his focus from the day-to-day activities within the organization to work strategically on SilverTech’s client services and alignment with key partners.

Nina Chang, VP of Accounting and Finance, SilverTech
Nina Chang will be promoted to Vice President of Accounting and Finance. Since joining SilverTech three years ago, Nina quickly advanced to Sr. Director of Finance and Accounting. In her new role, Nina will be responsible for the creation and implementation of financial strategies centered around both long-term and short-term finance deliverables and goals. Additionally, Nina will continue to establish policies and procedures in billing structure and strategy that meet the needs of our organization as well as the needs of our clients. Nina is a 2013 graduate of the Leadership Greater Manchester Program.

John Wingate, Director of Engineering, SilverTech
John Wingate will be promoted to Director of Engineering. John joined SilverTech in March 2014 as a Software Engineer. Before joining SilverTech, John had over nine years of web application development experience. Over the years at SilverTech, John has served as a Software Engineer, a Sr. Software Engineer, an Engineering Manager, and most recently, Sr. Engineering Manager. During his tenure in the Engineering department, John has taken on many challenging projects and clients, and he has consistently used his technical and interpersonal skills to work towards successful outcomes. As Director of Engineering, John will aid in recruiting efforts, focus on team training, and maintain best engineering practices for SilverTech clients.
